Jim Cook

James Cook, Chairman of the China Transition Institute, recently retired from a distinguished career as a management of technology consultant to the top management of such clients as DuPont, Motorola, Imperial Chemical Industries, Fiat, and Rolls-Royce. Previously he served as Vice President of Technology at Computervision, a Fortune 500 company, and the leading Computer Aided Design company at the time. Jim was also cofounder and Chief Executive Officer of a software tools company that he took to the NASDAQ. Early in his career, he was a Research Engineer in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

 
David Israel-Rosen

David Israel-Rosen, President and CEO of the China Transition Institute, is a Chicago based investor and entrepreneur. Prior to founding CTI, he had been a Managing Director of a Japanese Investment Bank in Tokyo, K.K. Aston Holdings. He advised such clients as American Express, AT&T, Ford, General Motors, Mercedes Benz, and U.S. West on the operational, developmental, and service advantages practiced in Japan. A visionary leader, David has insightful understanding of technology trends and has been in the forefront of path-breaking ventures based on business model adaptations to disruptive technologies. David has a Master's degree from the Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
